justin m asked:

I have seen many after pictures of gyno surgery and the chest often looks deflated with no shape. Just nipples and skin… Is this because they didn’t have a good amount of muscle beforehand? Does the liposuction take away the muscle tissue also? I have a good amount of muscle on the top of my chest but have bad (fatty Not glandular) gyno at the bottom

I don’t know but I got gyno in my right pec, it sucks! although it does keep me motivated to hold a low bodyfat %. it only become appearant when I get above 10% BF.

Cheaper than surgery = lose bodyfat.

I would imangine that most people who need lipo would lack the muscle to back their fat up. I have never heard of this procedure, and not to sound rude, but just like most procedures people insist on getting these days, it sounds really silly. I don’t understand why people spend well earned money on what a healthy diet and excercise could cure.

    Hi Justin!

I would suggest you go to a very reputable surgeon, who is likely to reduce much of the unwanted fat and give you a desired look. I don’t believe that muscle tissue affects the ability to extract fat, but it should affect the look afterwards since it is still there.

That should answer your question, but if not let me know.

Good luck with your diet and fitness goals!

Gynecomastia means having GLANDULAR tissue. If you just have an accumulation of fat, then that term does not apply. You wouldn’t need the same type of specialized surgery, just simple liposuction would work. Having good pects will help you look good afterward. Neither type of surgery would remove any muscle.
